The NC Blogger Network was founded in the summer of 2014 by Nikol Murphy and Allison Carter.
After attending multiple blogger events and engaging in many NC-based blogger forums, they realized that there were so many wonderful blog-related opportunities in the state that others should know about. The Tar Heel state houses some amazing, brilliant, ground-breaking bloggers.
They embarked on a mission to unite and share all the phenomenal happenings around the state.
The NC Blogger Network hosts events around the state (be sure to find your region of the NC Blogger Network or join then at a happening down the road), they feature blog and state-travel related tips (submit your tip to them to be featured), they offer resources and education on blogging and social media to members (become a member today for a low annual fee), and they host the popular #Blogging411 show.
There is something there for everyone, for every type of blogger, and they look forward to helping you be the best blogger you can be!
So, check them out and join now! Use code “TriFABB2014″ for 15% off your membership!
This was the first time we’d every done a meetup like this and it was so much fun. The photo above is just some of the members of triFABB who came to the meetup and workout!
If you haven’t heard of Orangetheory Fitness, it’s basically (in summary) a REALLY intense workout that mixes up cardio and strength training but really focuses on customizing the workout to YOUR particular skill level based on your heart rate. You wear a heart rate monitor throughout the workout and you’re able to see on a screen in the room what “zone” you’re in… whether you’re in the cardio zone, the fat burning zone, or the peak zone, etc.
We all agreed it was one of THE most fun, MOST intense, and most challenging workouts we’d ever done.
Lindsay of Poppy Daily even said, “I work out with a trainer 2-3x a week and have for a while and this was, by far, the best workout I’ve ever done.”
We could not agree more!! It was CRAZY hard and we were all totally SPENT by the time it was over, but we felt awesome.
Our trainer, Danny, had so much energy and really kept us going and motivated through the whole thing.
On a separate side note, members of #triFABB even brought canned foods to the event to help collect canned food for the Foodbank of the Triangle!
It was really an awesome afternoon!
If you’re in the Triangle and looking to really get an intense workout, you should totally check out Orangetheory fitness and tell them triFABB sent you!!
BUT, we have an exciting announcement to make! As you may know, we at triFABB love to have a charitable component to ALL of our meetups! Giving back is a huge priority for us!

Carol Anderson By Invitation (CABI) was founded by clothing designer Carol Anderson whose creations were sold in boutiques and leading retail stores such as Nordstrom for over 20 years. Determined to give her shoppers a unique experience, Carol created CAbi, where her customers can see her entire collection in the comfort of a friend’s home presented by a trained Fashion Consultant.
CAbi vs. Retail
CAbi consultants know Carol’s collections intimately and during a CAbi show the consultant will present many different looks showing the lines versatility, how to flatter your body type with just the right pieces, how to wear each piece as well as how to use the pieces to enhance your own personal style. Educating you on the make of a piece, the designer intent as well as the designer details. In many ways, CAbi consultants are like fashion stylists; they are the liaison between you, your body type, and your closet.
DATE: November 7, 2013 WHAT: CAbi Experience + Fill the Wagon for Durham Ronald McDonald House
WHERE: Durham Ronald McDonald House | 506 Alexander Ave, Durham, North Carolina, 27705 | Community Room
We had a FABULOUS time with Apricot Lane Boutique celebrating their grand opening at Southpoint Mall this past weekend. triFABB members didn’t let the rain get in the way of having a great time, getting a great discount, getting to try on great looks, and supporting a GREAT cause in Transforming Hope!
If you didn’t get a chance to shop the Stella & Dot trunk show for some GORGEOUS pieces and amazing deals, you can still do so here!
And, if you live in or around Durham, NC, you NEED to check out Graffiti Frozen Yogurt in Durham! They have SO MANY flavors and toppings – they have PING PONG, a jukebox, AND you can write on the walls!
If you missed it, you can check out photos from the meetup in our gallery below: (click on any picture to view the full gallery!)
